PU Two Component Polyurethane Insulating Glass Sealant
After long Research and Development Phases, after many on side approved trials at real applicators on pilot customers, and after getting certified the product according to EN1279 norms SAS is proud to launch his PU Polyurethane insulating glass sealant.
SAS PU 1000 sealant is a two-component polyurethane system developed for IGU (insulating glass units) production. SAS PU 1000 cures entirely within a few hours and gets shore A hardness values above 45 after 24 hours. It does not contain any solvent or mercury compounds. Thanks to the thixotropy effect, when A+B components are mixed, it does not flow out of the IGU joint. The cured sealant presents very good durability and adheres perfectly to different surfaces like glass or common IGU spacers. SAS PU 1000 prevents IGUs from moisture penetration and gas diffusion. Product is sold in 200 liters metal drums for A component and 20 liters metal pails for B component. Liquid B component is also available.
