PU 1000
PU1000 is Two component Insulated Glass Sealant based on Polyurethane.
SAS PU 1000 sealant is a two-component polyurethane system developed for IGU (insulating glass units) production. Thanks to the thixotropy effect, when A+B components are mixed, it does not flow out of the IGU joint. SAS PU 1000 cures entirely within a few hours. It does not contain any solvent or mercury compounds.
The cured sealant presents very good durability and adheres very well to different surfaces like glass or common IGU spacers. SAS PU 1000 perfectly prevents IGUs from moisture penetration and gas diffusion.
SAS PU 1000 should be applied as secondary sealant for double or triple IGUs.
